This avenue of service works to keep our club active, growing, and informed.
A1. FELLOWSHIP ACTIVITIES promote acquaintance, friendship, and participation among the members and their families in organized Rotary recreational and social activities. Organizes an annual club picnic — the newest members
A2. SUNSHINE COMMITTEE provides information on Rotarians that may be ill or facing health problems and communicates the Club’s best wishes to them. It keeps survivors of Rotarians informed and invited to club activities.

A3. CLUB BULLETIN AND MAGAZINE publishes the weekly bulletin, files a copy of each bulletin with the historian, and e-mails a copy to each member and to the District Governor.

A4. FUND RAISING committee implements fund raising activities. Rose Sale, the major fund raiser is under direction of Directors A and B.

Wheelchair Classic is a golf outing competition between Rotary (our club and the Sunrise Rotary Club) and the Menomonie Lions to raise money for wheelchairs or other needs at the Senior Center.

A5. HISTORIAN/ARCHIVIST collects and organizes records of the club’s activities and maintains a permanent file of the club’s bulletins.

A10. SERGEANT-AT-ARMS provides for the physical property arrangements for the weekly meeting, acts as hospitality person for guests, provides name tags for visiting Rotarians and guests and assures the maintenance of order in the Rotary storage area.

A11. PUBLIC RELATIONS committee presents information to the public about the club, Rotary, its history, goals, and accomplishments throughout the Rotary year.
• Provides special emphasis during Rotary Awareness Month (January).
• Works with the media to secure proper publicity for the club’s activities.
• Informs RI and the District of newsworthy club projects.
• The committee has responsibility for the club’s display at the District Convention.

DIRECTOR B –INTERNATIONAL SERVICE – Sue Beety
This avenue of service studies and recommends how we work effectively and positively with non-Rotarians, Rotarians, and Rotary Clubs in other countries.
B1. WORLD COMMUNITY SERVICE studies and recommends to the board how we might develop cooperative projects with Rotary Clubs in other countries. It also evaluates and recommends responses to WCS Projects designated or recommended by District 6250.

B2. INTERNATIONAL STUDENT ACTIVITIES stimulates activities of Rotarians with international students at UW-Stout and MHS.

IN-BOUND INTERNATIONAL YOUTH EXCHANGE brings young people from other countries to live and study in the Menomonie area, locates host families for them, encourages these students to attend the weekly Rotary meetings, provides transportation to these meetings, and coordinates any of their special needs while they are in our area.

B3. OUT-BOUND INTERNATIONAL YOUTH EXCHANGE sends selected high school aged youth from the Menomonie area to study in a Rotary community abroad for up to one year. Exchanges must be approved at the District Level.

B5. SHORT TERM INTERNATIONAL YOUTH EXCHANGE sends selected high school aged youth from the Menomonie area to a Rotary community abroad for a short-term exchange that lasts several weeks. This exchange need not include an academic program; it often takes place when schools are not in session. Students are expected to house a host student when the exchange student visits Menomonie. Summer exchanges must have District approval.
